I know we should use RAW + JPG to take photo. For the JPG file, what is the best White Balance setting in this situation of combined city & star lights?
To be frank, the JPEG files here do not have too many values. They are just a quick preview but no way near the final outcome.
However, it is a good habit to take care of the white balance on the field.
For city nightscapes, using a color temperature of 3000-3500K should be a good guess for most situations. Here you should only care about the color of the city light, no matter there are stars or not.
